Elżbieta was born in 1963 in Sokółka, Poland. She graduated from the State Secondary School of Visual Arts specializing in artistic textile and from the Institute of Artistic Education of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland in 1990. Since 1990 she has worked as a teacher in the Tadeusz Brzozowski Secondary School of Visual Arts in Krosno, Poland. Her exhibitions include: the Krosno Art and Architecture Biennial in 1991 and 1993; the “Srebrny Czworokąt” exhibition in Przemyśl, Poland in 1994; the Watercolour Triennial in Lublin in 1996; the solo exhibition in Rzeszów, Poland in 1999; the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in 2000, 2002 and 2004; and the 7th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2004. From 2005 to 2015 she has participated in many group exhibitions.
