Tetiana Łukaszewicz graduated from the Lvov National Academy of Arts in 1978. She lives and works in Ukraine. She works with artistic textiles, Gobelin tapestry, installation and painting. Since 1993 she has been a member of the Ukrainian Visual Artists Union. Tetiana has participated in over 200 exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad: in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Japan and Russia. She has often participated in the Weaving Open Air Workshop in Jaworów, Ukraine, as well as in the “TekstylIZM” exhibitions of the experimental artistic textile in Lvov, Ukraine, and in the international open air painting workshops in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland. Since 2005 Tetiana has been a curator of the International Painting Open Air Workshop in Ostroh, Ukraine. She has participated in the Ukrainian Textile Art Triennial in Kiev, Ukraine in 2004, 2007, 2011 and 2013. She also has held solo exhibitions in: Rivne, Ukraine, in 1996, 2003, 2006, 2011, and 2012; Zbarazh, Ukraine in 2001; Lutsk, Ukraine in 2003; Białystok, Poland in 2007 and Lublin, Poland in 2012. Her works can be found in the museum collections and private collections in Ukraine, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Sweden, Canada, Poland, and Russia.
