Alicja was born in Częstochowa, Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland. She is a visual artist and poet. She works with painting, graphics, photography, film and artistic textile. She lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. Alicja has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions. Her recent awards and distinctions include: distinction for the project of kilims at the “Tkanina wraca” CEPELIA Polish Art and Handicraft Foundation competition in Warsaw in 2012; honorary award from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lvov, Ukraine for the “Impresje miejskie” animated film at the 6th International Biennial Pastel Exhibition in Nowy Sącz, Poland in 2013. She has created the “Sztuka Przenikania” art blog.
