Lileya Kvasnytsya-Ambicka was born in Lvov, Ukraine. She graduated from the Faculty of Artistic Textile of the Trush Decorative and Applied Art College in Lvov, Ukraine in 1982. Since 1993 she has been a member of the Ukrainian Visual Artists Union. She works with Gobelin tapestry and artistic textile. Since 1983 she has participated in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. She has given solo exhibitions in Ukraine (Lvov and Zhovkva) and in Poland (Kraków, Sanok and Krosno).
