Biography:
She was born in 1971 in Telšiai, Lithuania. From 1986 to 1990 she studied in the Telšiai College of Applied Arts. She graduated from the Faculty of Textile of the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts in 1995. Currently she works as an academic teacher at the Faculty of Costume Design of the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Since 1993 she has participated in numerous exhibitions of artistic textile. Her hobby is making fashion accessories.
Motto: In my artwork I presented Lithuanian folk traditional flax spinning machine ? spindle . It is a significant element of traditional folk culture in Lithuania. It relates to unmarried girls dowry. Traditionally it was wooden, but I did it in a soft form.
