Magdalena was born in 1985 in Szczecinek, Poland. She graduated from the University of Arts in Poznań, Poland in 2010. Since 2012 she has worked as an academic teacher at her home university. She works with artistic textile and painting. Magdalena has participated in many exhibitions in Poland and abroad (since 2011), including: the 7th International Fiber Art Biennial “From Lausanne to Beijing” in Nantong, China in 2012; the 5th Riga International Textile and Fibre Art Triennial, Tradition and Innovation, “Diversity & Unity” in Riga, Latvia in 2015; the 15th International Triennial of Tapestry in Łódź, Poland in 2016; and the “Contextile 2016” Contemporary Textile Art Biennial in Guimarães, Portugal in 2016. She has been a recipient of numerous awards, such as: the “Without borders” 3rd Triennial of Textile 2012-2013 in Bratislava, Slovakia; the “Scythia 10” 10th International Biennial of Contemporary Textile Art in Kherson, Ukraine in 2014; and the “Textiles Over Gold” 16th International Mini Textile Exhibition in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2014.
