Jadwiga Korzeniowska graduated from the University of Folk Arts and Crafts in Wola Sękowa, Poland, where she completed a course of Artistic Handicraft and passed journeymen exams in the specializations of embroidery and weaving. She graduated from the Artistic Education Faculty at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, Poland. Her thesis was on the history of art and it was written under the tuition of dr Aleksandra Giełdoń-Paszek. She completed her degree in the Studio of Sculpture under the tuition of prof. Jerzy Fober in 2011. Jadwiga was awarded 1st Prize in the “Operation Frimousses du Monde de ľUNICEF France” International Competition in 2012. She has participated in the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in 2010, 2012 and 2014; and in the “Droga do Japonii” exhibition in the library in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland in 2014. Since 2011 she has run her own Studio of Handicraft in Siemianowice Śląskie.
