Volodymyra Gurska was born in 1952 and graduated from the Department of Textile of the Trush Decorative and Applied Art College in Lvov, Ukraine. She is a member of the Ukrainian Visual Artists Union. Volodymyra has participated in many exhibitions, including the “Z krosna do Krosna” 8th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno –distinction in 2014. Since 1997 she has worked in the Children's Folk Art School in Lvov. Volodymyra encourages the children’s creativity ensuring a realization of their potential.
