Anna graduated from the Faculty of Textile Art and Fashion Design of the Strzemiński Academy of Art in Łódź, Poland with a degree with honours at the Studio of Textile Design under the tuition of prof. Bolesław Tomaszkiewicz; annexes in painting under the tuition of prof. Ryszard Hunger and in sculpture under the tuition of prof. Władysław Ciesielski in 1993. She completed her doctorate in Fine Arts in the field of design in 2003. Since 2004 she has worked as an academic teacher. Anna works with painting, sculpture and textiles. She designs carpets and works with computer graphics. She has held numerous solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her exhibitions and awards include: the 4th International Textile Competition: 94’ Kyoto, Japan; the International INTERFASHION ‘94 Workshop – the President of the City of Łódź Prize in 1994; the “Odznaka Zasłużonego Działacza Kultury” decoration (medal for merit to Polish culture) from the Minister of Polish Culture and National Heritage in 2004; the 11th International Triennial of Tapestry in Łódź in 2004; 7th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textile in Łódź in 2004; the “Przestrzeń nieograniczona” exhibition at the 12th International Artistic Cloth Triennial in the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Hall in Łódź in 2007 and in the Polish Social & Cultural Association Gallery in London, England; Place aux Artistes – 1er Salon International d’Art Contemporain en Plein Air in the Galerie Arcima in Paris, France in 2008; 3ème Biennale Internationale Sculpture Contemporaine Bourgogne in Bourgogne, Nolay, France in 2009; the exhibition presenting Anna’s post-doctoral degree works in the Aula Gallery in the University of Arts in Poznań, Poland in 2011. Last solo exhibition: “Existenz” within the scope of the 0+ group activity, Kreismuseum Bogenberg, Germany in 2014.
