She graduated from the Faculty of Interior Design of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań, Poland under the tuition of Prof. Jan Węcławski in 1973 with additional specialisation in industrial forms and usable graphics. She studied Painting at the studio of prof. Tadeusz Brzozowski. Since 1980 she has worked with artistic textile and since 1989 – with watercolour painting. She has participated in many group exhibitions, including: the Nemzetközi Miniatürtextil Biennálé in Szombathely, Hungary in 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990 and 1992; the Annual International Exhibition of Miniature Art in Toronto, Canada in 1989, 1990 – distinction, 1991, 1995, 1996 – distinction, and in 1997; the ”Art Horizons”11th International Competition in New York, the USA in 1990; the International Textile Competition in Kyoto, Japan in 1987 and 1989; the International Triennial of Tapestry in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland in 1988, 2001 and 2010; the International Crafts Festival’92 in Toyama and Takaoka, Japan – Award of Recognition in 1992; the Salon International de l’Aquarelle d’Uckange in Uckange, France in 1999 – Special Award, 2000, 2001 and 2003; the International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textile in Gdynia, Poland in 2004, 2007 and 2010; the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland in 2000 - distinction, 2004, 2006 – distinction, and in 2008; the 46 Salon International des Arts Plastiques de la ville de Béziers in France in 2002 – Gold Medal in watercolours cathegory; the “Barwy Morza” Polish National Maritime Exhibition in the “Dar Pomorza” gallery on ship – Prize in 2014; the 11th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textile in Łódź – nomination for the prize in 2016; and the 13th Polish National Exhibition of Unique Textiles in Łódź – nomination for the prize in 2016.
