Biography:

Born in Nowy Sącz, Poland and graduated of the Faculty of Art from the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, Poland, Iwona Bugajska-Bigos holds a diploma in Painting (1995). She finished her postgraduate study in the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in the field of painting and artistic textile (2006) and wrote her PhD in the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (2009). Iwona is an academic teacher in Artistic Education in the State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Sącz. She works with painting, artistic textiles and enamels. Iwona has participated in 80 group exhibitions and 15 solo exhibitions.
