Ivanna Tokar graduated from the State Secondary School of Applied Arts in Lvov and from the Faculty of Artistic Weaving of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lvov in 1990. She is a member of the Ukrainian Visual Artists Union. She works with artistic textile (gobelin tapestry and batik). She has participated in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, including: Israel, England, Poland and Finland. Since 1995 Ivanna has worked as an adjunct professor in the University of Humanistic Studies in Rivne, Ukraine.
