Biography:

Daria Sołtan-Krzyżyńska graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She works with painting and unique textiles. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. Daria is a member and organizer of open air workshops. She was a commissar of the 4^th International Painting and Unique Textile Biennial in 2007 and the curator of the 5^th and 6^th edition of the International Painting and Textile Biennial in 2009 and 2011. Daria has held 36 solo exhibitions and participated in about 200 group exhibitions, including recurrent unique textiles competitions in Poland (Łódź, Krosno, Gdańska, Sopot, Gdynia, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Jelenia Góra and Wrocław) and abroad (France, Hungary, Lithuania, Sweden, Germany and Finland). She has been a recipient of numerous awards.
