Biography:

Aneta Słowik graduated from the Department of Textile and Clothing of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, specializing in Designing Printed Textile. She works with artistic textile and icon-painting. She has participated in many exhibitions, most important of which are: the “Struktury powiązań” International Festival of Artistic Textile in Cracow, Poland, in 2007; 4^th Polish National Painting and Unique Textile Biennial in the Museum of the City of Gdynia, Poland in 2007; 8^th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles on Łódź, Poland in 2007; the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno in 2008 and 2012; the Polish National Exhibition of Unique Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2010; and the Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textiles in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź in 2010.
