Biography:

Renata Jackowiak was born in Poznań, Poland, and graduated from the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań with a degree in Textiles under the tuition of Prof. Andrzej Banachowicz. She has been the recipient of a grant from the Ministry of Art and Culture and presently works as an academic teacher in the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Renata works with unique textiles and miniature textiles. Her works are of warm colour schemes. Recently her work explores the harmony between natural materials and synthetics enriched with gilding. Renata has participated in a dozen solo exhibitions and over a hundred group exhibitions.
