Biography:
Born in Leuna. Studied at the Academy of Art Design in Halle-Brug Gibichenstein (1956-63). From 1972 to 1976 she restored the old textiles in the Catedral of Halberstadt. Since 1976 she has been working, as a free artist, with textile materials and different kinds of papers.
Motto: I think, it is an interesting idea, to work with an old textile material in an old textile technique: (textile inlaidwork) and to make a modern designing.
