She was born in Prato (Italy), from a Ducht mother and an Italian father. Moreover she had a Polish grandmother. Great part of her life she passes in the Netherlands which culture and tradition reflect in her works. Graduated form the „Instituto d’Arte Petrocchi” in Pistoia in 1980. At the beginning of the nineties she creates her first fiber sculptures, using the traditional textile and tapestry techniques including also embroidery.
