Barbara Pierzgalska was born in Siedlce, Poland and graduated from the Public Academy of Arts in Łódź. She works in unique textiles and painting. She has been a recipient of the grant from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as well as the Mayor of the city of Siedlce. Barbara Pierzgalska is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the Association of Polish Pastellists. She has held 35 individual exhibitions of major importance. She has participated in many group exhibitions in her homeland and abroad. Her works can be found in the museum collections in Poland as well as in private collections in Poland and abroad. She has been awarded the Decoration of Honour “Meritorious for Polish Culture”.
