Anna Jesinowicz-Nguyen was born in 1956 in Głogów, Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1980. Since 1999 she has been related to the “Na Jatkach” Gallery in Wrocław, Poland. She designs artistic textile, uses her own designs. She had her solo exhibitions such as the “Poezja i sploty” exhibition in Wrocław (2004); the “Sploty duszy” exhibition in Jelenia Góra and Chojnów, Poland (2007); the “Gobeliny ocalone od zapomnienia” exhibition in Wrocław (2010); the “Z pamiętnika Penelopy” exhibition in Wrocław (2012); the “Tkanina artystyczna” exhibition in Jastrzębie Zdrój, Poland (2012); the “Oswoić przemijanie. Portret Tkacki” in Warsaw (2016); the “Artysta jest Tkaczem – Tkacz jest artystą” exhibition in Szklarska Poręba, Poland (2017), the „Labirynt Tkaczy” exhibition in Wrocław (2020). She has also participated in many group exhibitions, such as: the “ALE tkanina” exhibition in the Centre of Weaving Traditions in Prudnik, Poland (2013); the “Praca kobiety nigdy się nie kończy” exhibition in the International Cultural Centre in Cracow and in Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle in Szczecin, Poland (2013); the “XL lat Sztuki Włókna w Kowarach i na Dolnym Śląsku 1974-2014” exhibition in Łódź and Jelenia Góra (2014); and the 11th Triennale Internationale Des Mini-Textiles in Angers, France; the “Posłuszni natchnieniu” exhibition in the “Na Jatkach” Gallery in Wrocław (2021). Anna Jesinowicz-Nguyen’s awards and distinctions: the 4th and 5th “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno – 2nd Prize (2006) and Awarded Mention (2008); The International Exhibition of Weaving Art, The Museum of Weaving in Kamienna Góra – the 3rd Prize (2009), Awarded Mention (2008, 2010, 2011); The National Exhibition of The Polish Miniature Textiles in the Central Museum of Textiles, Łódź – Nomination for the Prize (2013).
