Agata Zielińska-Głowacka graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland. In 2017 she completed her postdoctoral degree in art at the Faculty of Painting at her home university. Currently, she works as an assistant in the Studio of Textile Art of her home university in Gdańsk. She works with fibre, miniature textiles, hand-made paper and experimental textiles. Her achievements include the 1^st Prize the ”Z krosna do Krosna” 7^th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland in 2012; and the ATA Award for Excellence at the 7^th International Fiber Art Biennale “From Lausanne to Beijing” in Nantong, China in 2012. She was a member of the Program Committee of the 14^th International Triennial of Tapestry in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland in 2013. Agata is a juror and participant of numerous exhibitions, as well as artistic textile competitions and miniature textile exhibitions.
