Ewa Labrzycka was born in Poznań, Poland in 1965. She graduated from the Higher State School of Applied Arts in Poznań with a degree in Artistic Textiles at the Studio of Gobelin Tapestry and Spatial Fabric under the tuition of prof. Urszula Plewka Szmidt. She has participated in many exhibitions, including the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial held by the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland (2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014); the 10^th Polish National Exhibition of Unique Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź (2007); the “Cierpienie” exhibition in the City Museum of Luboń, “Na Regale” Gallery in Luboń, Poland (2007); the “Najlepszy Dyplom Ukończenia Studiów w Zakresie Sztuk Pięknych i Projektowych” President of Poland Competition in the Museum of Posters in Wilanów, Poland (2004); the “Czwarta Dekada. Kierunki – Tendencje” exhibition of Polish Contemporary Textile in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź (2003); and the “X-lecie Pracowni Gobelinu i Tkaniny Przestrzennej WSSS” exhibition in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź (2002).
