Halyna Kusko was born in Lviv in 1959. She graduated from the the Institute of Fine Arts in Lviv (now Lviv National Academy of Arts) and got a diploma with a distinction in 1981. Currently, she works as a dean (PhD) of the Faculty of Applied and Decorative Art in Lviv National Academy of Arts. Her artworks are related to artistic textile. She has participated in art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad.
