Jadwiga Korzeniowska graduated from the Artistic Education Faculty at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, Poland. She graduated also from the University of Folk Arts and Crafts in Wola Sękowa, Poland, where she completed a course of Artistic Handicraft and passed journeymen exams in the specializations of embroidery and weaving. She learned there many handicraft techniques and discovered her skills and her own great patience. Since 2012, Jadwiga has been running her own creative workshop (Pracownia Twórcza ArtKo). The main idea of the workshop is to discover artistic skills and creative independence in children and adults. The artist's motto is self-development, doing what she loves and communicating these values to others through the process of learning. She has participated in the 11^th Art Naif festival (2018); the “W drodze do Japonii” exhibition in Siemanowice Śląskie, Poland (2014); the “Operation Frimousses du Monde de l’UNICEF France” – 1^st Prize (2012); the “Z krosna do Krosna” International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno, Poland (2010 – debutant category, 2012, 2014, 2016).
