She graduated from the State Secondary School of Visual Arts in Łomża and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (textile design) under the tuition of prof. Jolanta Rudzka-Habisiak. She works with broadly defined textile, batik and painting. Sywia is professionally connected with the City of Zambrów Center of Culture. She runs there a Studio of Textile (as batik and weaving teacher) and Studio of Dolls (creating hand-made dolls, masks and theater costumes). Sylwia has participated in many solo and group exhibitions.
