Wolodymyra Gurska was born in 1952 and graduated from the Department of Textile of the Ivan Trush State College of Decorative and Applied Arts in Lviv, Ukraine. She is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Artists. She works with Gobelin tapestry and artistic textile. Wolodymyra has participated in many exhibitions, including the “Z krosna do Krosna” 8^th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in the Museum of Crafts in Krosno – distinction in 2014. Since 1997 she has worked in the Lviv Children's School of Folk Arts. Wolodymyra encourages the children’s creativity ensuring a realization of their potential.
