The last edition aroused great interest among artists. Over 98 artists from 9 countries (Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary) submitted 120 works to the competition. In addition, a member of the Jury professor Ewa Maria Poradowska-Werszler presented one work outside the competition. Due to non-compliance with the terms of the competition (point 4 of the statute), the Jurors excluded works of the two authors from the competition. These works, however, were presented during the series of exhibitions.

When it comes to „Z krosna do Krosna” DEBUTS 2016 – 7 artists submitted 9 works to the competition. The Jury highlights the fact that this edition of the Biennial has attracted more interest among young artists than ever, especially by the " DEBUTS 2016" exhibition. The Jury draws attention not only to the high artistic values of the whole exhibition but also to the inventive formal solutions used by the artists.
