Aleksandra Zuba-Benn lives and works in Tarnów, Poland. She graduated from the Studio of Gobelin tapestry under the tuition of prof. Magdalena Abakanowicz of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznañ (1986). In 2010 she completed her doctorate at the Art Department of the Pedagogical University in Cracow, Poland. Currently, she works as an academic teacher in the Art Department of the State Higher School of Vocational Education in Tarnów, Poland. Aleksandra is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers and the “Wiklina” Polish National Association of Artists. The artist participated in 33 solo and 140 group exhibitions in Poland, France, Ireland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary and Belgium. She works with unique textile, painting, wicker and paper. Agnieszka has participated in numerous open-air sessions and art seminars.
