She has graduated from the State Higher School of Visual Arts (currently the Academy of Fine Arts) in Wrocław in 1996. She has worked with graphics and artistic pottery till 1978. Since 1979 she has been working with artistic textile. Jadwiga has organised many solo exhibitions (e.g. in Bolesławiec, Dippoldiswalde, Jelenia Góra, Kowary, Łódź, Wrocław, Zgorzelec, Kamienna Góra). She has participated also in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad: the International Biennial of Graphic Design, Faenza, Italy; the International Biennial of Graphics in Kraków, Poland; the Exhibition of Polish Art in Stockholm, Sweden; the Exhibition of Polish Textile in Hobro, Denmark; the Exhibition of Polish Textile in Moskow, Russia and Sofia, Bulgaria; the Polish National Exhibition of Unique Textiles in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland (2016, 2013, 1989); the Interdisciplinary Exhibition of Wroc³aw Art Environment in Reims, France; the Exhibition of Small Weaving Forms in Łódź (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic) and Meiningen (Germany); and the International Fiber Art Exhibition in Kamienna Góra, Poland. Jadwiga took part in the “Warsztat Twórczy – Kowary” International Symposium in Kowary, Poland. Her artworks can be found in the collections of public institutions and museums (the National Museum in Wroc³aw; the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź; the Bureau for Artistic Exhibitions Gallery in Warsaw; the Poltegor Collection in Wrocław) and in private collections in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden and USA.
