Biography:
Beata Czerepak graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland in 2002. She has received a debutant award in the Triennial of Contemporary Artistic Fabric of the Gdańsk Coast in Poland (2004) and the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdańsk (2005). She has participated in many group exhibitions, including the 11th Polish National Exhibition of Miniature Textile and the 13th Polish National Exhibition of Unique Textiles in the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland (2016); the 10th Triennale Baltic Mini Textile, Gdynia, Poland (2016); the “Memory of Textile” 17th International Minitextile Exhibition in Bratislava, Slovakia (2015); the 9th Triennale Baltic Mini Textile, Gdynia, Poland (2013); the “Wobec przestrzeni” exhibition of textiles and sculpture during the “Metropolia jest OKEY” Festival in Gdañsk, Poland (2012/2013); the 6th International Biennial of Miniature Textile in Szombathely, Hungary (2012); the “Barwy i Faktury” 6th International Painting and Unique Textile Biennial in Gdynia, Poland (2011); and the "Miniatura Trójmiasta" exhibition during the 8th International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles in Gdynia (2010). Examples of solo exhibitions: the “Kawałekpokawałku” exhibition of artistic textile in Gdańsk (2007); the “Papierówki” exhibition of mini-textile, collage and graphic designs in Druskininkai, Lithuania (2005); and the “Zapis” exhibition of unique textile and mini-textile in Gdańsk, Poland (2003).
