Anna Kobak-Pisowacka was born in 1950 in Krosno, Poland. She graduated from the State Secondary School of Visual Arts in Nałęczów and the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Kielce, Poland. Although she developed in artistic weaving herself, this became her hallmark. Anna was accepted as

16th August 2018, the Jury of “Z krosna do Krosna” 10th  International Linen Cloth Biennial has met to proceed with the results of current edition of artistic textile competition. The Jury awarded twelve prizes and two equal Awards DEBUTS 2018 for young artists.  

28th August 2000 – in the Bureau for Artistic Exhibitions Gallery in Krosno with great stage fright and some kind of disbelief that we had managed, we were opening the first edition of "Z krosna do Krosna" International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial. Surrounded by the local governmen
