PREMIERE EXHIBITION AND AWARDS CEREMONY



On August 20, 2022, a ceremonial premiere of the exhibition in conjunction with a ceremony honouring the winners of the “Z krosna do Krosna” 11th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial 2022 was held. The Jury, which deliberated on August 17, 2022, nominated the artworks of 31 artists for awards, and then awarded 15 laurels in the main competition and 1 in the accompanying competition – “Z krosna do Krosna” DEBUTS COMPETITION 2022. The Jury consists of:

The main competition of the “Z krosna do Krosna” 11th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial 2022 was entered by 79 artists from 9 countries: Czech Republic, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, USA, UK – the names of the participants and the titles of their works can be found in the appendix to the present protocol, who made 103 artworks. In addition, 4 works made by 3 artists – jurors were submitted for participation in the exhibition – out of competition.

For reasons not attributable to the organiser, 2 works by one artist from Japan, which were qualified for the competition, were not reviewed by the Jury because of customs procedures and the timing of notification of the result (information received during the Jury deliberation), nevertheless, they will participate in the series of exhibitions of the “Z krosna do Krosna” 11th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial. The works are also included in the Catalogue of the “Z krosna do Krosna” 11th IALCB 2022.

For the “Z krosna do Krosna” – DEBUTS COMPETITION 2022, 8 works were submitted by 8 participants, artists – debutants. The Jury nominated all works for the Award. By the decision of the Jury, the Award in the Competition "Z krosna do Krosna" – DEBUTS 2022 went to Ms MAGDALENA ŚWIĄDER, POLAND
