She was born in 1949 in Stuttgart, Germany. She has worked as a teacher in 1970-1991. Since 1978 she has worked with handwoven miniature (tapestry). A member of the Federation of Artisans of Baden Württemberg District (Bund der Kunsthandweker Baden Württemberg) and since 1998 a member of the Association of Artists of Baden Württemberg District (Verband Bildender Künstler Baden Wüettemberg). She has participated in many enhibitions: exhibition in Villingen – Schwenningen, Germany (1996); exhitibion in the Laupheim Castle, Germany (2000); exhibition in the Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art, Coral Gables, USA (2000); the Miniartextil exhibition in Como, Italy (2000, 2001, 2014); the 2nd International Biennale in the Art Gallery in Coral Gables in USA– 2nd Prize (2002); solo exhibition in the Textile Museum in St. Gallen in Switzerland (2002, 2005); the International Exhibition of Contemporary Minitextiles in the National Museum in Bellas Artes, Chile (2003); the 3rd International Biennale in the Museo de La Ciudad Quinta La Isabella in Valencia, Venezuela – award (2004); the 4th International Biennial WTA in Costa Rica – 2nd Prize (2006); Galerie Jäger in Heilbronn, Germany (2007); the “z krosna do Krosna” 5th International Artistic Linen Cloth Biennial in Krosno, Poland (2008); the Bolsa de Comerico in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2009); solo exhibition in the Museum of Engen, Germany (2010); the WTA 6th International Biennial in Mexico (2011); the National Exhibition in the Museum in Engen, Germany (2012); the Biennial in Kherson, Ukraine (2013); the International Baltic Mini Textile Triennial in Gdynia, Poland (2013); the “Überregional” exhibition in the museum in Mülheim, Germany (2015); the Gallery of the City of Ditzingen, Germany (2016); the WTA 7th Biennial in Montevideo, Uruguay (2017); the “Kunstverein” exhibition in Biberach, Germany (2018).
Weaving is an old handicraft and I wave in a modern style the miniature-tapestry. I hope this old handcraft will have a long future
